In the fertile rolling hills of North Kivu province, the Bean There team met the joyful coffee farmers from the surrounds of Butembo city. The lush soils of the region help produce a coffee that delivers a flavour as delightful as the people who grow it.

Bean There source their coffee from the farmers of the Virunga Coffee Company and pay them directly, ensuring a fair trade that keeps their business sustainable and ours meaningful.

This single origin coffee has a plum aroma and crisp acidity alive with rich fruity flavour. This specialty coffee is optimally roasted in South Africa to deliver a taste as rich as the continent it comes from.

This fully washed coffee is grown at altitudes of between 2000 and 2200 metres above sea level and is of the Cofea Arábica Bourbon varietal.
